+ What does the price of a charter include?
The purchase price of an Inshore or Offshore charter includes the boat, fuel, captain’s expertise in finding the fish, licenses for both Florida and Alabama, all equipment (rods, reels, tackle), ice and bait. The charter price for the 3hr & 4hr inshore/nearshore trip includes up to 4 anglers with an additional charge of $50 per person for up to 6 anglers (passengers) max.
The charter price for the 4hr, 5hr and 6hr offshore / deep sea fishing trip includes up to 4 anglers with an additional charge of $50 per person up to 6 anglers (passengers) max
+ Are prices per person or per chartered boat?
Prices quoted on our booking page are per charter (or per boat) for up to four passengers – Additional passengers beyond 4 (maximum 6) fees are stated in the charter options on the main page. As a potential client, you are “purchasing” the boat, fuel and captain’s services for the time allotted.
+ How do I get to the marina where All Jack'd Up is docked?
All Jack’d Up is located in Perdido Key, FL at Perdido Bay Seafood 13506 Perdido Key Drive Pensacola,FL 32507 – approximately 20 minutes from downtown Pensacola, 45 minutes from Pensacola Beach, 20 minutes from Orange Beach, AL and 25 minutes from Gulf Shores, AL.
+ Will we catch fish?
On All Jack’d Up Charters we pride ourselves on catching fish and providing a family friendly experience. However, we cannot guarantee that the fish we catch will be legal to take home. Due to our fishing regulations not everything is in season. Please contact All Jack’d Up Charters if you have questions regarding which species are in season.
+ What should we bring?
You are welcome to bring a small cooler with food, snacks and drinks (no glass bottles).
The following items are also recommended: -Sunscreen -Sunglasses -Hat -Camera
+ What is included in the price of a charter?
All of the bait, tackle, rods, reels, licenses, and ice for the fish are included.
+ Are tips accepted by Capt. Michael?
If you believe Capt. Michael went above and beyond to serve you, tips are gratefully accepted. Thank you.
+ Do we need a fishing license?
No. All Jack’d Up Charters has fishing licenses and permits for both Florida and Alabama that covers you and your family.
+ Will our catch be cleaned and gutted for consumption?
Yes. Captain Michael will clean and bag your catch at the end of the trip. We can also recommend local “hook-it & cook-it” restaurants that will prepare your freshly-caught fish. But please, if you do NOT intend to keep any fish, please tell us so that we can give all our captured fish a safe and healthy release. That way we can ensure a healthy population for our future generations to enjoy!
+ What do we do in case of bad weather?
At All Jack’d Up Charters, we keep a constant close eye on the weather reports and radar. We will inform you in advance if the day looks to be either unpleasant OR dangerous. We will NOT put you or your family in that type of situation!
Generally, we do NOT fish in the Gulf if seas are greater than 3’ 3-4 seconds apart. If weather turns poorly while we’re out on the Gulf fishing, we will decide accordingly and the charter will be pro-rated if we have to return early.
+ What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and major credit cards (Checks will NOT BE accepted)
+ Can we bring along our own alcohol?
Yes, but canned beverages only. Absolutely no glass is permitted on the boat for safety reasons.
Please drink responsibly and be aware of your personal limits while aboard All Jack’d Up.
+ What if I lose a fishing rod belonging to All Jack'd Up?
We purchase and use top-of-the-line rods and reels for our clients to use while aboard their charter. Although we have only lost 2 deep sea rods in over 10 years, if you do accidentally drop it off the boat, let go of the rod while fighting a fish, or leave the rod unattended and a fish strikes it pulling it overboard and it is lost, you will be charged a replacement fee.
FEES: Inshore Rods/Reels: $60.00 Deep Sea Rods/Reels fee is $325.00.
+ What types of fish/species will we likely catch?
Inshore / Nearshore: Sheephead, Redfish, Flounder, Pompano, Bluefish, Small Sharks, Red Snapper, Grouper, Black Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and Bonita
Offshore / Deep Sea Fishing: Red Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Bonita, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Grouper, Scamp, Mingo (Vermillion) Snapper, Black Snapper, Cobia (Ling), and Sharks ( Bull Sharks) We DO NOT keep sharks. Catch and Release only.
+ How much riding and fishing time might we expect on a typical trip?
For an Inshore trip we are usually fishing within 30 minutes from the launch.
For an offshore trip we are fishing within 45 min to 1 hour from the launch.
+ What are some local "Hook It and Cook It" restaurants?
